Since v2.6 Leaflet Maps Marker also support bing maps as basemaps for marker and layer maps, demo:
In order to enable bing maps support, you have to do the following steps:
- to get a free Bing Maps key, please follow this instructions first
- enter you API key within the plugin´s settings under the tab “Bing Maps”:
Optionally you can navigate to “Bing Culture Parameter” and set the language of the culture for geographic entities, place names and map labels on bing map images.
- on settings / tab “Map Defaults” scroll up to “Available basemaps in control box” and select the type of bing maps which should be shown in the layer control box:
Optionally you can also set bing maps as default maps when creating new marker or layer maps by scrolling up to “Default basemap for new markers/layers” on settings / tab “basemaps”:
