Global statistics
Feature has been removed in v2.8 to comply with WordPress plugin repository policies
In order to get (anonymous) plugin usage data (see top of this website), I implemented a simply counter within the plugin. Each time a marker or layer is added, a page on www.MapsMarker.com is called which counts up the corresponding usage number. Please note, that in contrast to Piwik or other analytic tools like Google Analytics, no personal data (like IP, URL…) is saved within this logfile. The function just opens a text file and counts up the included number by one. If you don´t want to use this feature, you can disable it in settings / misc.

Donations/Refunds

I appreciate your donations which help keeping the plugin free for everyone and allow me to spend more time on developing, maintaining and support. Nethertheless due to limited ressource I am not able to refund donations made to MapsMarker.com. Please also note that a donation made does not impose an obligation on me for e.g. adding a new feature to the plugin – nethertheless I am looking forward to your ideas, which allow me to prioritize the development of new features.
